GASBE was founded and is maintained by SRBT as a structured network of practitioners, researchers, and organisations working in soil bioengineering, vegetation engineering, and erosion control.
GASBE is not a certification body. It does not issue certifications, compliance designations, or regulatory approvals. Its value is practical: access to current technical knowledge, peer exchange between practitioners working in comparable conditions, and training on methods and materials.
GASBE operates on the side of professional practice, not commercial accreditation.
Participation is open to practitioners, researchers, and organisations working in soil bioengineering, vegetation engineering, erosion control, and ecological restoration — independent of SRBT partnership status.
Activities include training events, field workshops, and structured technical exchange. SRBT contributes training content derived from active project experience and Biopolymer Solutions GmbH formulation development.
SRBT partners receive GASBE access as a component of their partnership arrangement. Non-partners can participate via direct inquiry.
For SRBT partners, GASBE access is a functional component of the partnership — not an additional benefit layer. Training on current system standards, updates on new formulations and methods, and network access to other practitioners are delivered through the GASBE framework.
Knowledge generated from BPS formulation development enters the GASBE training framework as systems are validated and released for field application.
